Changes within the family, relationships, work and events can hit particularly hard and finding new strategies in order to cope may feel impossible. Counselling for
anxiety,exploring past and present issues can enable you to draw on your awareness and discover positive solutions in taking control of the fear that stimulates the anxiety.
There are many challenges and numerous difficulties that people experience throughout life events. Feelings of not being understood can cause comunication breakdowns which can result in conflict with the people around them and feed anxiety within other areas of life.
Bereavement & loss can aslo create difficult emotions, trying to deal with many changes and the acceptance of losing a loved one.
I have experience in working with men, women and young people within my private practice and within schools counselling young people with OCD, anxiety and anger management. I have also worked with parents who have children with autism and within special needs schools using applied behaviour analysis.
